We got a NES and some other stuff for the household very long ago for a cheap price together with some games. I played a lot of Kirby's Adventure, Super Mario Bros 1 (With Duck Hunt),2 & 3 and a cool cartridge with like 250 games on it.

A SNES with most classics like Donkey Kong Country, Uniracers, Super Street Fighter 2, Kirby's Dream Course and a bunch of others.

The last consoles we got were a PS2 and OG Xbox. I played a buncha Action and JRPG's on that thing and it was great. I had HALO and Jet Set Radio for the Xbox and honestly, I still vaguely regret getting it.

Around the time we got the PS1 I was already online a bit and was reading a lot about JRPG's and such. I would ask my dad to help me snipe people on Ebay on cheap copies of FF7 and 9 way back.
I would sometimes jump on the PC. We had some crappy RedCat games. We mostly had stacks of CD's like "Top 25 shooter games" or "All time classic PC platformers". I would sometimes play stuff like Star Wars Rebel Assault and Jazz Jackrabbit.

Through more tech-world friends we also got a N64 and both a PS1 for cheap. We got the PS1 modded later on, too. I played so much Ocarina of Time, StarFox when we rented it, Rogue Squadron when we rented it. Majora's Mask once I saved up for the Expansion Pack.

On the PC I played a lot of RPG's like Gothic, Morrowind and emulated stuff. I was always super big into emulation because I didn't have to bother with swapping cables or blowing my lungs out on now old cartridges.

I was starting Runescape, thinking hard about FF11 and playing tons of small online games with friends via MSN or Skype.
